FORCE Family Office, Roth Capital to host EV symposium

The shift from gas-powered vehicles to electrified options, and the opportunities that come with these changes for the automotive industry and investors, will be discussed during an electric vehicle symposium on January 8, 2021 starting at 10:00 a.m. ET.

The virtual event is being co-sponsored by FORCE Family Office and Roth Capital partners, and includes two one-hour panel discussions between thought leaders in the EV manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.

The first panel will include EV OEM leaders:

  • Lordstown, manufacturer of the world’s first all-electric commercial pickup truck, via FORCE Wealth;
  • XL Fleet, an industry leader in electrification for Class 2-6 commercial fleet vehicles;
  • Canoo, a company focused on bringing the “ultimate in utility” to the EV sector;
  • Lion Electric, which makes EV school buses; and
  • Electra Meccanica, which makes solo personal EV commuter cars.

The second panel will focus on:

  • Luokung, a tech company that uses data-processing to enable EV and autonomous vehicle operation;
  • Ideanomics, an EV enablement company that integrates EV manufacturing, financial resources, charging infrastructure, and utilities;
  • Nuvve: a company involved in vehicle-to-grid (V2G) infrastructure for high-powered charging and grid services;
  • Blink Charging, which deploys and operates EV charging infrastructure globally; and
  • Beam Global: which manufacturers the “most rapidly deployed EV charging stations in the world,” based on FORCE Wealth.

The company said the changes coming are poised to disrupt all aspects of the $3 trillion transportation industry — including vehicles, infrastructure, retailing, and service.
