COVID impact reaches Amazon staff

Retail giant Amazon, which has been doing well amid the pandemic, recently laid off dozens of R&D and manufacturing employees working on its e-commerce delivery drone project. “We are reorganizing one small team within our larger Prime Air organization to allow us to best align with the needs of our customers and the business,” said Amazon spokeswoman Kristen Kish.
