Peru, Switzerland sign carbon offset deal

An agreement that took two years to negotiate has led to Peru getting financing for sustainable development projects, and Switzerland getting to count the resulting emissions cuts against its national targets, according to Climate Home News. The two nations consider this the first deal of its kind under Article 6 of the Paris agreement.
