Uber can once again operate in London

September 28, 2020

A judge has overruled an earlier decision by Transport for London (TFL) to pull its permission to operate in London due to an alleged 14,000 trips provided by people who presented themselves as official Uber drivers but were not, according to Car and Driver. “TFL also didn’t renew Uber’s license to operate back in 2017, citing Uber’s lack of corporate responsibility, but the ride-sharing service was granted permission on appeal.” Uber now has an 18-month license to operate in the city.
