Driver asleep as Tesla self-drives at 150 km/h in Alberta

The driver of a Tesla vehicle was found asleep at the wheel while the vehicle was self-driving at approximately 150 km/h on a highway in Alberta. The RCMP said both front seats were completely reclined and both occupants appeared to be asleep. RCMP superintendent Gary Graham said although OEMs have built-in safeguards to prevent drivers “from taking advantage of the new safety systems in vehicles, those systems are just that — supplemental safety systems.” (Source: The Guardian) Read the original article…
