Switching to an electric vehicle (EV) could allow Canadians to reap approximately $10,000 in “social benefits”, according to a study conducted by the Ontario Public Health Association. The study focuses on the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). “‘Social benefits’ do not reflect any actual money saved, but rather approximate the amount of money someone would pay to reduce their risk of death,” said Driving.ca.
