U.K. new car sales down 44.4% as dealerships close

March data reveals that U.K. new car sales plummeted 44.4 per cent as dealerships closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “The collapse – while expected – brings new-car registrations down to a level lower than any seen since the 1990s,” said Auto Express.
