Quebec considers business tactics post-crisis

Quebec is considering its next steps for business in the province as it prepares for a post-COVID-19 world. “It will be a new world,” said Pierre Fitzgibbon, Quebec’s Economy Minister. He expects the behaviour of both consumers and governments to change, especially as most governments will be indebted from the expensive emergency relief measures. “There is going to be a geopolitical environment of increased protectionism,” said Fitzgibbon, adding the example of supply chains and products such as cars, smartphones or medicine.
