In an effort to better support dealers in Western Canada, SiriusXM has added two new District Managers to the prairies and restructured its field team to include regional managers across the country.
“We are pleased to welcome two new District Managers, Amanda Booth and Melissa Sousa, to our team in Western Canada,” said Michael Mazgay, Vice President, Automotive Remarketing, Dealer Operations, SiriusXM Canada. “By strengthening our team in the Northern and Southern prairies, and by establishing Regional Managers across Canada, we have all the right people in place to fully support our dealers with a more hands-on approach.”
The company has also amped-up its support of dealers by sponsoring and creating events that offer a unique experience, with a focus on memorable moments.
Some examples include: a concert SiriusXM sponsored at the Western Canadian Dealer Summit in Banff, Alta., in September, which featured iconic Canadian rock band Platinum Blonde; and a Gala After Party at the Manitoba Motor Dealers’ Association 75th anniversary event in Winnipeg, MB., in November — the party included music from a DJ at the SiriusXM booth.
“Our brand is about creating moments for Canadians inside and outside their vehicles,” said Nina Rodrigues, Senior Manager, OEM Marketing, SiriusXM Canada. “We can show our dealers that we value their partnerships, and also bring some fun and energy to their events.”
According to SiriusXM, dealers can expect to see more of these types of events from the company next year.
SiriusXM also recently launched a dealership training portal that dealers can read about here.
