SiriusXM has launched a training portal for dealers and their sales teams to help them understand how to use the company’s service to further boost customer satisfaction.
“The site was designed to be engaging and entertaining,” said SiriusXM in a news release. The company has so far launched four modules, including Why SiriusXM and Understanding the All Access Trial. The other two modules focus on how to use SiriusXM through the buying process.
“We will continue to provide content that will create a better understanding of the SiriusXM service and content that can be used to help personalize your customers vehicle buying journey,” said SiriusXM. “Plus, with some pretty sweet launch incentives and ongoing opportunities and experiences as a thank you for being a trusted partner.”
Dealer Principals and General Managers have a chance to win a prize pack that includes a trip for two to the World Series, along with airfare, hotel and more. For a chance to see the annual championship series, dealers will need to do three things: register for the SiriusXM Training Portal, ensure five people from the dealership’s sales team also register, and all registered users must complete at a minimum, Module 1.
For the dealership’s sales staff, every module completed means they earn 90 days of streaming on the SiriusXM App. A sales employee that completes all four modules will receive one full year of streaming at no cost.

Most OEMs in Canada provide a complimentary trial period for dealership customers buying a new or used vehicle, and the training portal helps dealership teams better understand the SiriusXM service and offerings and how to position it as a customer benefit. In addition, the training provides tips on how sales people can set up SiriusXM in the vehicle so that the service, including the SiriusXM app, is set up and ready to go when the customer takes delivery of their vehicle.
