OpenRoad Auto Group dipped into its Vancouver, B.C., dealerships and selected a Canadian talent to lead operations of its luxury brands in Seattle, Washington.
Aly Jiwani, who is currently the Area General Manager of The BMW Store, MINI Vancouver, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Vancouver, Karma Automotive Vancouver, and OpenRoad Honda Burnaby, has been promoted to Area General Manager of OpenRoad Northwest. He maintains his currently responsibilities, but adds overseeing operations of Bentley, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Rolls-Royce of Seattle, Washington.
“This is an exciting time for OpenRoad as we enter our third year in the U.S. market, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be leading our great team south of the border,”said Jiwani. “With four of the world’s most luxurious supercar brands under one roof and a brand-new state-of-the-art dealership on the horizon, the future looks very bright for OpenRoad Northwest.”
Jiwani has been immersed in the automotive retail industry for a long time: in 1998 he worked at Surrey Honda; in 2004 he held a variety of positions at OpenRoad dealerships, starting with OpenRoad Toyota Richmond and OpenRoad Honda; and in 2008 he was promoted to General Manager of North Shore Acura.
In 2010 Jiwani was tapped as General Manager for OpenRoad’s new Langley luxury auto mall, starting with BMW Langley and MINI Langley, and then Infiniti Langley and Porsche Centre Langley.
“He is the recipient of multiple Honda Canada Senior Sales Master Awards and Grand Master Awards,” said OpenRoad Northwest in its news release. Jiwani was also awarded with two Acura ACE Awards.
