Cox Automotive Canada’s Dealer.com has launched what it calls new innovations meant to enhance dealers’ technology and data capabilities to improve the consumer shopping experience.
“With features previously unavailable in Canada, the Dealer.com experience will be easier and more efficient than ever before with dedicated Canadian service, along with complete transparency of analytics, performance, and pricing,” said Jeff Clark, Cox Automotive Canada Vice President of Media Solutions.
The company’s new innovations include a redesigned website platform: a modern, mobile-first version with updated VDP features, among other things. New homepage designs will focus on things like imagery, facet search, and personalization.
New advertising solutions are also available to help target in-market buyers more effectively. For example, Dealer.com said its integrated ad campaigns use data-targeting capabilities to connect potential in-market buyers across paid search, display, social and video channels. This in turn is meant to help influence consumer demand throughout the online car shopping process.
The solutions are integrated within the company’s customized advertising package. The upside for dealers is that it can help them save time and increase traffic and leads. For consumers, it can also save them a lot of time and it provides them with a more intuitive experience.
The company has also expanded its offerings through its Managed Services team, which means they now provide better content and creative capabilities to support fixed ops campaigns to promote specials and incentive campaigns. Particularly useful is the ability to embed videos within landing pages — which is good news for social media efforts and search engine optimization.
