RAPID RTC adds text product to platform

RAPID RTC, a Canadian-based SaaS provider in digital lead management, is taking the concept of seamless digital integration one step further by offering a new standard text product.

“We are all aware the way customers go about buying a vehicle has evolved,” said Glen Demetrioff, President of RAPID RTC. “As with other buying decisions, today’s automotive customer does most of their research and comparison shopping online and 90 per cent prefer to engage via text versus phone.”

The company seeks to simply the process for online car shoppers by providing them with the ability to text directly with sales consultants in real-time. The feature is also meant to encourage salespeople to re-engage with potential car buyers after their initial conversation.

The ability for car buyers to text directly with a sales person without any middlemen is expected to provide both parties with a better communication experience.

“When offering RAPID RTC Text coupled with our Chat, dealers are experiencing a 120 per cent increase in leads and, perhaps more importantly, these leads are higher quality and farther along the purchase funnel than other forms of online communications,” said Demetrioff.

One of the key features of the product is the Business Intelligence (BI) data, which basically ensures car dealers have access to “text engagement metrics” — data and a transcript of the conversation. This, according to RAPID RTC, is meant to provide them with coaching and training opportunities.

“Providing the online customer real answers to their many purchasing questions by connecting them with the relevant salesperson, at the relevant time, along the relevant digital communication channel, produces more quality leads for our clients, while simultaneously exceeding their customers’ growing expectations,” said Demetrioff.
