Mr. Robert Poëti, new CEO of the CCAQ, takes office today

The Corporation des concessionnaires d’automobiles du Québec (CCAQ) is pleased to introduce its new chief executive officer, Mr. Robert Poëti.

Effective today, Mr. Robert Poëti will be serving as Chief Executive Officer of the CCAQ. To do this work successfully, Mr. Poëti has more than one string to his bow. Indeed, he holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from ENAP, and has accumulated several years of experience as a minister in various Quebec government departments, including the Ministry of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Electrification of Transportation, as he was elected in 2012. Mr. Poëti has also made his mark through his numerous appearances in the Quebec media, both as Director of Communications for the Sûreté du Québec, and as a columnist for radio, television and print media in Quebec. He began his political career as the official Opposition critic for public safety between 2012 and 2014. In addition, he worked for several years as a manager in large organizations such as Dicom and the Sûreté du Québec, and managed his own public communications firm.

Mr. Poëti is an engaged man and is familiar with this sector of activity, as well as the complexities of politics, in addition to being passionate about the automotive industry. Dealers will have the opportunity to meet him as part of the CCAQ’s training tour to be held in each of the regional corporations this coming October and November.
