Mercedes-Benz Fuel Cell Division named top workplace

Mercedes-Benz Canada’s Fuel Cell Division (MBFC) has made the 2017 List of Best Workplaces in Manufacturing. Compiled by Great Place to Work, the list considers data that includes direct feedback from employees of hundreds of organizations.

All companies recognized for the award must have had their Canadian manufacturing operations certified in the past year, and employees had to return a minimum response rate of 90 per cent to the statement, “This is a physically safe place to work.”

This is the second big win for Mercedes-Benz Canada this year. In April, the company was recognized in April as one of 2017s Best Workplaces in Canada.

“The changes that we have been implementing at Mercedes-Benz Canada are founded on integrity and a sense of responsibility to our staff,” said Brian Fulton, president and CEO. “They are informed by our promise to deliver the best customer service, which starts with offering the best possible work environment.”

This latest award is another sign that the company is headed in the right direction, he added.
