Dealers and industry leaders were all smiles at the sold-out 75th birthday bash for CADA in New Orleans.
The Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) promised dealers that their 75th anniversary party in New Orleans, Louisiana would be one to remember, and based on the rave reviews from some of the more than 500 dealers, suppliers and industry leaders who attended — it was a smash success.
The historic House of Blues venue was busting at the seams, as a spirited crowd of Canadians arrived in town early for the annual NADA Convention & Expo so they could help celebrate the historic milestone for the association that leads Canada’s new car and truck dealers.
Canadian rock-icon Tom Cochrane and his former band mates Red Rider were in fine form and rocked the Canadians with all the band’s big hits, including Big League, White Hot, Lunatic Fringe, Untouchable One and the biggest hit of the night for the dealers: Life is a Highway.
Before introducing the band, John White, CADA President and CEO thanked the dealers for attending, and the many sponsors who supported the event. After the band’s rousing set, White, Marc Bourassa CADA Chairman, and members of CADA’s Executive took the stage to cut a giant 75th anniversary cake.
Canadian auto dealer talked with dozens of attendees who had nothing but praise for the event that was a perfect start to the party season at NADA 2017.
