CARPROOF has now come out with two more badges that dealers can add to their websites.
Used vehicles can now be identified on vehicle history reports with Top Condition and Low Kilometres badges to help customers find vehicles with these features.
The company said the Top Condition badge helps assure used car buyers that the vehicle in question is in good shape, and has been registered as Certified Pre-Owned without unfixed safety recalls.
Used vehicles with the Low Kilometres badge mean they have been driven under 18,000 kilometres per year.
Ed Woiteshek, President and CEO at CARPROOF, said these attributes were among the most important ones for used car buyers.
“These badges are one more step we’re taking to encourage transparency in the industry. Dealers that use these badges are showing their customers that they provide all the information available on the vehicle being considered,” said Ed Woiteshek, in a written release.
“We want to make it as easy as possible for consumers to find the right car, and for dealers to sell that car with complete transparency. These badges help us do just that.”
