Forty years after becoming the first Honda dealership in Ottawa, Dow Honda inaugurated its brand new custom-built state-of-the-art facility on September 15 at the corner of Colonnade and Merivale roads in the Nepean sector.

“The dealership might be new, but we will always bring our customers a classic outstanding Dow Honda experience with dedicated service and the highest quality parts and products,” said Andrew Bearss, general manager of Dow Honda.
The grand opening of the new Dow Honda was celebrated with much fanfare, as members of the Ottawa Redblacks, including cheerleaders and mascot Big Joe, were on site to mingle with the crowd.
Store owner Jeff Mierins, along with his family, welcomed customers and guests to the special occasion. Notable guests included Jerry Chenkin, president of Honda Canada, and Jim Watson, the mayor of Ottawa.
“A great deal of thought has gone into making sure that every customer that walks through the doors of this new store has an experience that exceeds their expectations. We have definitely added a lot of wow to the all new Dow,” said Mierins.
Opened originally in 1974 at the corner of Carling and Preston, Dow Honda is a three-generation family owned and operated dealership with more than 50 employees.
