Former Nissan Canada exec joins Kia Canada

TedLancaster-300Former Nissan Canada executive Ted Lancaster has been named the new Vice-President and COO of Kia Canada Inc.

The automaker said Lancaster will be responsible for both the daily and strategic operations of the sales, marketing, after sales and legal departments. Lancaster has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, and was Vice-President of Field Sales and Sales Operations for Nissan Canada prior to joining Kia.

“I am looking forward to the next challenge of my career here at Kia Canada,” said Lancaster in a written release. “Working collaboratively with our network of dealers and Kia Canada employees is a top priority in order to continue driving our mutual success.”

Kia Canada has also been busy with its charitable initiatives, and has recently kicked off its National Equipment Drive.

For a second consecutive year, Kia Canada, along with business partners and 188 dealers across the country, are donating new and lightly used soccer equipment to underprivileged youth. Kia dealerships are accepting donations from August 21 to September 30.
