Mercedes-Benz said its new 130,000 sq.ft. Thornhill flagship retail facility is “sure to set a new benchmark in automotive retail experience.”
The company announced construction has been completed on its new state-of-the-art facility, located at 228 Steeles West in Thornhill, Ont. just north of the city of Toronto.
Located on a 3.2 acre lot, the new facility can house 40 showroom vehicles, and it also includes 32 service bays, six detailing bays, a six-vehicle service drive-through, and a dedicated AMG performance and smart centre.
Also featured is a 36,000 sq.ft. Pre-owned vehicle showroom.
“We initiated this massive undertaking because our customers deserve the best products and service possible and this goes hand-in-hand with an excellent overall dealership experience,” said Philipp von Witzendorff, VP & Head of Toronto Retail Operations, Mercedes-Benz, in a written release.
“We are very proud of this new flagship location but we are even more excited about the opportunity to provide an entirely revamped level of service to our customers in Thornhill and its surrounding areas,” he added.
Construction on the new facility began in November 2013, beginning with a demolition of the previous infrastructure.
