Prius V
Toyota now has 12 ‘Top Safety Pick’ awards under its belt as the automaker moves into the new year. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded eight Toyota and Lexus vehicles and four Toyota and Scion vehicles recently with a Top Safety Pick+ rating in the industry.
Of note, IIHS recognized the Prius V for its significantly improved performance all-around in the small overlap crash test, and the Toyota Sienna was the only minivan to be awarded one of the Top Safety Pick designations.
