Mike McManes, of McManes Automotive Group in Calgary, Alta., contacted Canadian auto dealer regarding developments on the South Trail Auto Mall project in the Southeast corner of the city. Once completed, the South Trail Auto Mall will cover an area of 32 acres and encompass five dealerships, plus a collision centre.
Following the groundbreaking ceremony on July 10, construction has begun on the first facility, a Chrysler dealership and adjoining FIAT store that will encompass 101,000 square feet and is scheduled to open for business in 2015. Once operational, the new South Trail Chrysler store will be the eighth location for the Chrysler brand in Calgary. Construction of a new Hyundai and Kia dealership on the South Trail site are also scheduled to begin in the coming months.
