British Columbia-based Trotman Automotive Group (TAG) has announced the opening of its sixth dealership, Langley Fiat, in Surrey, B.C. The new store, located at 19550 Langley Bypass will represent a reincarnation of the long-standing Springman’s dealership, recently acquired by TAG.
A former Saturn Saab store, Springman’s and its staff of 26 have been operating without a new vehicle franchise since 2008.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring new life to an existing business and team of loyal, long-term staff,” remarked dealer principal Brad Trotman. “It is very exciting to bring a world-class brand like Fiat to the Langley and Surrey market.” The Langley Fiat dealership officially opened its doors on November 1, 2013.
The revitalized 18,000 square foot dealership facility will include a Fiat studio showroom with new and used vehicles, a service facility including eight bays, a drive through Service Express Lane, plus a parts and accessories boutique for total car customization and Italian lifestyle items.
Additionally, the new site will retain Springman’s state-of-the-art collision centre run by Reuben Springman and also continue to carry the Saab brand name as one of the only authorized Saab Official Service Centres in British Columbia.
