In order to help assist those affected by the recent floods in Alberta, Toyota Canada Inc. and Toyota Financial Services have committed $100,000 in support of relief efforts in the province by the Canadian Red Cross.
“It has been heartbreaking to witness the devastating effects of the flooding in Calgary and other Alberta communities,” said Seiji Ichii, president and CEO, Toyota Canada Inc. “It is important that we provide this assistance so it can have the maximum impact to help those in need.”
“Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by this disaster,” added Larry Baldesarra, president of Toyota Financial Services. “Canadians across the country have once again demonstrated their exceptional compassion and generosity when needed most.”
The financial assistance will be used by the Canadian Red Cross, an organization dedicated to providing humanitarian support to Canadian communities in need. Through the help of volunteers who donate their time and financial support, the Canadian Red Cross continuously aims to improve the lives of people in Canada and abroad.
