Canadian auto dealer columnist and well-known automotive social media coach Kathi Kruse, has released a new book, entitled: Automotive Social Business – how to captivate your customers, sell more cars and generally be more remarkable on social media. The book, is designed to provide dealers and their staff a way in which to learn about social media marketing so it can help bolster their online presence, generate leads and as a result, foster solid, long-lasting relationships and with it, repeat business.
According to Kruse, a 30-year veteran of the auto industry, “the more you learn about social media, the more you understand how much time it takes to locate and publish relevant content.” As a result, the book aims to provide the best options for dealers, so they can tailor a strategy that’s likely to work for them.
The book also features in-depth analysis on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and also blogging as foundations for an online social presence. “Creating your own content is what increases your visibility and influence when it comes to search engines,” says Kruse. Additionally, she says that, “your own content also provides your customer with information they either don’t or didn’t know. Studies show that when a customer reads 30 plus pages of your own content, you’re 80 per cent more likely to close the sale.”
