Recently, CarProof, Canada’s leading source of used vehicle reports, organized an exclusive dealer training event in Montreal, Que. at the Marriott Chateau Champlain.

Due to the rapid growth in online advertising and social media, the ways in which to reach potential car buyers is more prolific than ever. For many dealers, the difficulty lies in choosing the most effective strategy in terms of advertising and promotion. In order to help them make more informed choices in this brave new sphere, CarProof organized a training event where keynote speakers were able to share their knowledge in a memorable setting.

Present, were Luc Dupont, professor of Communications at the University of Ottawa and a leading media and Internet advertising specialist, Fabien Fayard, director of Marketing and Communications at online marketplace LesPAC.com and Norman Theberge, vice-president, Strategies and Solutions at car and truck classified website Auto Hebdo.

In addition to the three keynote sessions, attendees had the opportunity to network and exchange ideas over dinner and coffee breaks.

CarProof provided this exclusive training program for dealers as part of its mandate to deliver tools and resources that enable them to manage and operate profitable and successful stores. According to CarProof, customers often form their opinions of both vehicles and dealers well before they actually set foot inside the store, based on the impression
and feedback they receive online.

“We want to provide our dealers in Quebec with more than just vehicle history reports,” remarked CarProof’s director of sales in Quebec, Roberto Bernard. “We also want to be partners and contribute to their success.”
