TADA annual Christmas luncheon draws over 600 guests

On Friday, December 7, the Trillium Automobile Dealers’ Association hosted its annual Christmas Lunch. With over 600 registered guests including dealers, suppliers and industry professionals it was a great way to celebrate the past year and look forward to 2013.

Despite the challenges facing the industry, Todd Bourgon, the TADA’s executive director said that 2012 had proved to be a year with many positives, with dealers showing remarkable resilience and continuing to excel both to their customers and within their communities across Ontario.

TADA president Frank Romeo, also used the occasion to provide a few remarks, highlighting some of the major events of the year as well as expressing thanks for the continued support of dealers to the association. This year’s lunch, which also marked the 104th year of the TADA, was co-sponsored by Autonet.ca and 24hrs which presented travel vouchers to top performing dealers, giving them a chance to indulge in some well-earned vacation time.

There was also an on-site glass blower making Christmas decorations, all for a good cause. In addition the luncheon represented a chance for old friends to catch up, share stories and usher in the holiday season.
