Event organizers are feeling bullish about thestrength of Canada’s automobile industry, after the 2012 Canadian International AutoShow finished its 10-day run on Sunday, Feb. 26 with an all-time record attendance of 316,751.
This tops the previous attendance record, set in 2004, of 310,174.
“These record numbers are an indication of a positive market reaction toward the numerous new and high tech products being offered by every manufacturer,” said General Manager Tom Tonks.
Tonks predicts that based on the record public attendance of the show, 2012 will likely see improved automobile sales in Canada.
