London, Ont. gets first Mitsubishi dealership

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada (MMSCAN) marked the official opening of a new dealership this week located at 1045 Wharncliffe Rd. South, in London, Ont.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and fundraising also marked the occasion.

The president and CEO of MMSCAN, Koji Soga, was on hand to assist in the ribbon ceremony— along with London co-dealer principals Bill Duffield and Steve McKeown.

“We are very pleased to welcome Bill Duffield, Steve McKeown and their team at London Mitsubishi to our dealer family,” said Soga.

Mitsubishi says Duffield and McKeown have a long-standing history in the automotive retail sector and have been applauded for their focus on customer relations.

The co-principal team are also involved with charity work. At the grand opening, the dealership helped fund the Japan Tsunami Red Cross Relief effort by purchasing a large quantity of the ‘Songs for Japan’ CD.

During its first weekend of business, London Mitsubishi is encouraging the public to stop and receive a complimentary copy of the charity album upon each test.

“Mitsubishi’s continuing progress in Canada was instrumental in our decision to add London Mitsubishi to our other line up of quality luxury brands, and we look forward to serving our customers with the very best sales and service that the automotive industry has to offer”, said Duffield.
