Ontario Hyundai dealers have raised more than $312,000 for Hyundai Hope on Wheels in Canada through the inaugural Whole Lotta Hope benefit concert, which was held May 28 at Toronto’s El Mocambo music venue.
The event, supported by automotive retail software provider CDK Global, brought together Hyundai dealers, industry partners, artists and community members to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.
Hyundai Hope on Wheels in Canada is a non-profit organization that supports research aimed at improving outcomes for children diagnosed with cancer.
“Across Ontario, CDK has been a valued contributor to the dealer-driven efforts behind Hyundai Hope on Wheels,” said Rein Knol, chairman of Hyundai Hope on Wheels and chairman of the Hyundai Canada National Dealer Council. “The success of this inaugural event reflects the strength of our dealer community and partners like CDK who stand behind our efforts.”
According to organizers, the fundraiser highlights the collaboration between Hyundai Auto Canada Corp., its dealer network and industry partners in supporting community initiatives beyond day-to-day dealership operations.

The sold-out concert marked the first Whole Lotta Hope event organized by Ontario Hyundai dealers and served as a fundraising platform for the charity’s mission to support pediatric cancer research.
