Next year the Montreal International Auto Show will bring more than 30 brands to the Palais des congrès in January, marking the return of Audi and BMW after multi-year absences and introducing three new themed zones aimed at families, outdoor enthusiasts and performance fans.
Running Jan. 16-25, 2026, the show’s newest edition emphasizes hands-on experiences and broader appeal. Audi will participate for the first time since 2019, while BMW returns after last appearing in 2020.
The show’s spokesperson, Bertrand Godin, said in a statement that the Montreal Auto Show has again reinventing itself while staying true to what makes it unique: passion, innovation, and human connection. “The public wants an experience, they want to be amazed, to touch and to explore. The brands are responding to this with remarkable enthusiasm,” he said.
Organizers say more OEMs will be added as agreements are finalized. “Audi’s and BMW’s return, the arrival of new themed zones, and the commitment of more than thirty brands reflect the dynamism of our industry and the renewed confidence in the Montreal Auto Show,” said Luis Pereira, Executive Director, in a statement. The 2026 event will feature three distinct zones:
Pereira said the goal is simple: “to offer a relevant, accessible, and inspiring experience for all visitors.”
CAA-Québec and PowerQ will again support outdoor EV test drives on public roads. And to promote opening-week ticket sales, the show will offer a Black Friday discount: general admission tickets will be 50 per cent off on Nov. 27 and 28, 2025.
