GM speeds up plans to build EV van in Canada

General Motors reduced the time it plans to get the upcoming BrightDrop electric delivery vehicle into production in Canada, according to Driving.ca. “The move could double the number of units built in the first year, in order to keep up with the demand that’s expected for the new van.” The BrightDrop EV600 will be built at the OEM’s CAMI Assembly plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, which currently produces the Chevrolet Equinox.
