Dealer-FX partners with CDK Global’s Fortellis

Toronto-based technology provider Dealer-FX, which provides service technology solutions for automotive dealers and leading OEMs in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, announced on February 10 that it has partnered with Fortellis.

The partnership will enhance Dealer-FX’s integration with CDK Global, which provides integrated technology solutions to dealerships around the world.

“Deeper integration between Dealer-FX’s ONE Platform and CDK will lead to improved dealership efficiency and better experiences for our users,” said Bill Lucchini, CEO of Dealer-FX in a news release.

News of the partnership comes just days after Dealer-FX announced it is now offering video-integration technology to service departments, an industry-first.

An integration with CDK Global through the Fortellis Automotive Commerce Exchange platform has been completed, which means that dealers who use Dealer-FX technology will no longer need to re-enter data in their CDK DMS (dealer management system).

Fortellis is a technology platform for the automotive industry that uses a developer network and marketplace to connect software developers like Dealer-FX, with OEMs and dealers. The platform’s goal is to improve customer and dealership experiences through these connections, ultimately streamlining experiences to ensure they are both efficient and seamless.

As a result of the integration, Dealer-FX has been added as a publisher on the Fortellis Automotive Commerce Exchange platform, which will allow Dealer-FX to provide dealerships and their service departments with real-time access to vehicle and customer data.
