U.K., EU deal good news for EV trade

The last-minute trade deal clinched on Christmas Eve between the United Kingdom and European Union means the electric car trade is protected — for now. One of the stickier points that had to be worked out was the percentage of parts in EVs produced outside the EU/U.K. that would still qualify for zero tariffs.
