Hyundai may halt sales of EV Kona in SK

Hyundai is considering halting the sale of its Kona electric vehicle in South Korea, possibly due to a string of recalls and reported battery fires. Similar issues have sparked recalls in other countries, like the U.S. where its future is a question mark. “The Kona Electric is hardly a hot seller like it is in Europe and the automaker plans a slew of new EVs for the U.S. under its newly established Ioniq sub-brand,” said CNET.
