The idea of giving back in tough times is a tune dealers are familiar with, but that tune also extends to suppliers and providers, and many other companies within (and beyond) the automotive space — with the latest example coming from AutoVerify.
The company, which is powered by Mobials, sponsored a virtual holiday lunch in which they announced that each employee would be offered a vacation package at the Killarney Mountain Lodge in Killarney, Ont., located 430 kilometres north of Toronto.
“It’s been an unbelievable time,” said Mobials’ co-founders. “Our team is everything to us, and after learning about the increased mental health challenges faced by Canadians this year, we wanted to do something for our team to ease the stress brought on by all-things 2020 while investing in local economies that have struggled under pandemic restrictions.”
The co-founders, which include James Hayes, Marty Meadows, Brad Hanebury and David Brebner, said they opted for a “safe, remote vacation” as a way to thank their team for pulling together and producing “incredible results” this year.
“It gives them a chance to relax, unwind, and reconnect with their loved ones, while supporting the Canadian hospitality industry and a resort with strong ties to the London community,” said the co-founders in a news release.
Employees will be able to customize the length and style of their stay. They can also choose between hiking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or relaxing in their room during their vacation.
