Eric Guerin
CDK Global has named Eric Guerin as the company’s executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer, effective January 18, 2021.
Guerin will be in charge of driving CDK Global’s financial strategy, growth opportunities, and performance in an efficient and profitable way and with minimal risks.
“We are looking forward to Eric bringing his more than 20 years of finance experience from well-regarded, publicly-traded companies to help us strengthen our balance sheet and accelerate growth in our business,” said Brian Krzanich, President and Chief Executive Officer at CDK Global.
Guerin previously worked for Corning Incorporated as division vice president and sector CFO for Corning Glass Technologies. He was also vice president of finance and CFO for aftermarket services and solutions at Flowserve Corporation, and has worked for the Alcon Division at Novartis and Ethicon at Johnson & Johnson.
His new position will allow the current EVP and Chief Financial Officer (COO), Joe Tautges, to complete his own transition to chief operating officer early next year. CDK Global’s CEO also thanked Tautges for his “tremendous contributions as CFO,” as he is expected to play a critical role as COO when he officially enters the position next year.
