Average leads per listings for new cars are up 108% nationally on Kijiji Autos, according to the company’s November Trend Report. In October, leads per listings were up 14%.
However, engagement on Kijiji Autos properties dipped this month, with the platform garnering less VDP views (76 million in November versus 89 million in October), 56,000 calls (down from 68,000), 1.0 million email/chat replies (down from 1.2 million), and 206,000 dealership URL clicks (down from 233,000).
November also saw 125.8 average views per listing, and a total of 121,574 total listings achieved for the month for both cars and trucks.
Views per body type revealed passenger cars garnered 11.3 million views, SUVs managed 8.3 million, pickup trucks received 6.5 million, and vans garnered 1.0 million views — all for a total of 29.6 million total views.
The average dealer listing price for a new vehicle in November 2020, year-over-year, was $46,511 (down 0.22%), and $19,228 for used vehicles (up 3.98%).
For mass-market domestic new vehicles the listing price was $50,546 and $18,397 for used vehicles. For mass-market imports, new vehicles were listed at an average of $35,753 while used vehicles were listed at an average of $16,240.
The top most popular brands for November were the Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Dodge (up one), Honda (down one), GMC, BMW, Nissan, Volkswagen, and Mercedes-Benz.
The most popular models were the Ford F-150, Honda Civic, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (up), GMC Sierra 1500 (up), BMW 3 Series (down two slots), Dodge Ram 1500, Ford Mustang, Ford F-350 (up), Dodge Ram 2500 (up), and the Toyota Corolla (down again, by one). The Volkswagen Jetta was on the list in October, but has since dropped off.
