The U.K. Department of Transport announced it will be working with Ocado, Tesco, Deliveroo, and Uber to create a comprehensive map of the countless potholes on U.K. roads. “To help determine which roads require repairs, data gathered by the four firms will be used ‘to paint the most comprehensive picture ever of where funding is most needed to make sure roads are not plagued by potholes.’” Data-mapping company Gaist and local authorities will also help with the project.
