Subaru Canada has introduced RAPID RTC Live Dealer, meant to connect online customers with salespeople in-real time through an audio/visual consultative sales process.
Described as an immersive and omni-channel experience, the digital tool allows customers to choose the communication channel they prefer — whether that means chat, voice or video, to connect with a dealer. Sales consultants can also offer live product walk-arounds in the showroom or on the lot.
“Subaru Canada is among the first to adopt this online, immersive experience,” said Joe Felstein, Senior Director of Customer Experience at Subaru Canada. “This digital tool enables an online sales process for Subaru Canada, but allows dealers to empower salespeople to build authentic relationships while communicating online.”
Live Dealer includes a screen-sharing feature so dealers can help customers with questions or concerns around inventory sourcing, build and price, and credit applications, among other things. The tool can be used with any device and can transfer in-progress conversations from desktop to mobile, according to Subaru Canada.
“Salespeople are the most qualified to guide customers and create a positive experience — both in person and online — and if showroom traffic is low or they’re between appointments, they can use Live Dealer to engage the online shopper, with meaningful, fully immersive conversations,” said Glen Demetrioff, President and CEO of RAPID RTC.
He adds that the tool was designed to pioneer the evolving auto retail process by connecting online consumers with dealership sales staff in real-time.
