CDC recommends cars over public transport, ride-sharing

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a new publication that, according to Car and Driver, encourages the use of private vehicles over public transportation (and potentially ride-sharing). It also recommends that employers offer incentives to employees who usually use public transport or ride-sharing to get to work. This, so they can “use forms of transportation that minimize close contact with others.” The CDC publication is called COVID-19 Employer Information for Office Buildings.
