GM’s Holden invites dealers to negotiate compensation via video

General Motors’ Holden has invited dealers in Australia to negotiate their compensation packages via video conference during the second week of June. In early May, GM’s calculations suggested it owed some dealers as little as $350 per new-car sold during a specific period (in addition to extra costs). This was followed by more claims and counter-claims before negotiations reached a stalemate. The ACCC intervened last week. Dealers now have until the end of June to accept the compensation by GM.
