RAPID RTC launches Live Dealer platform

RAPID RTC launched a new omni-channel platform with integrated chat, voice, and one- or two-way video to help bring dealers and online shoppers together.

Known as RAPID RTC Live Dealer, the platform offers sales staff the ability to communicate and sell online. For consumers, it allows them to start their vehicle purchase journey in the digital realm.

“RAPID RTC Live Dealer delivers a live, customer initiated, completely personalized guided journey, enhancing any digital retail platform by combining the physical space with the virtual,” said Glen Demetrioff, President & CEO of RAPID RTC.

He said the platform includes full audio-visual capabilities for salespeople to share all the elements of the sales process with a customer in real-time, “while allowing the customer to retain control of their experience — creating a truly frictionless digital conversation for both dealer and prospect.”

Demetrioff also said the platform has no limitations when it comes to devices, downloads, bots, or location, and that it works seamlessly with all modern-day browsers.

Dealers have the ability to use video and transfer in-progress conversations from desktop to mobile, and to offer car shoppers virtual vehicle walk-arounds in the showroom or on the dealership lot. They can also offer guidance on any aspect of the digital retailing process, such as inventory feeds, build and price, trade-in appraisals, DMS deal screens, and/or credit applications.

“Salespeople can walk customers through the entire purchase journey online with RAPID RTC Live Dealer, using the integrated and immersive toolset to switch seamlessly between video, voice, and chat to deliver a full showroom experience — the same way they would for in-person prospects,” said the company in a news release.
