TRADER is expanded its digital advertising platform offering known as TRFFK to the rest of Canada after launching the service in Quebec at the end of 2017, according to the company’s news release.
“TRFFK is an absolute game-changer for our dealer partners,” said Jill Hadfield, Vice President of Product Commercialization at TRADER. “Coming out of a highly successful launch in Quebec, we’re excited to be able to bring this full-service offering to dealers across Canada. This smart solution will drive performance and optimize automotive advertising efforts across the country. TRFFK enables dealers to make highly targeted advertising decisions based on the vast in-market car shopping audience data that is proprietary to autoTRADER.ca.”
The data is then used to help “power local, digital advertising campaigns” and convert the online traffic generated by these campaigns into actual customers.
The company said its analysis of TRFFK’s initial launch reveals that dealers using the platform managed to reach twice as many consumers when compared to simply using advertising campaigns powered by either their website data or a single channel. TRADER’s research also shows that car shoppers are four times more inclined to click on a dealer ad that was managed on their new platform.
