Nearly 300 dealers, suppliers and industry leaders teed it up at the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association Annual South Golf Tournament on June 17, 2015.
Held at the Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in Milton, Ont., the event features two 18-hole courses with a four person scramble tournament, a play your own ball low net and gross competition, and the longest drive.
Jim Suske from RBC shot a 63, earning the top play your own ball low net score. The winner of the low gross competition was Rick Valin of BASF Canada, who shot a 74.
The top low net winning team —who shot a 52 — were Ruth McBride of Scotiabank, Don Romano, Steve Milette and Jeff Hewitt, of Hyundai Canada.
There were two teams that shot 61 and tied for first in the scramble competition.
That was the BMO team, including Ryan Mahoney, Alex Murphy, Steve Lavery and Todd Chevalier, and a second team with Barry Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald Motors, Andrew Gradish of Eichenberg Motors, and Kevin Olsen and Matt McLeod representing ADESA Kitchener.
Winners of the scramble tournament at the second course were Ken Gyles of Scarboro Mazda, Ken Mossop of NewRoads Automotive Group, and Toronto Sun colleagues Don Zumpano and Steve Didycz.
There were also various winners for the longest drive and closest to the hole on both courses.
TADA representatives thank all event/hole sponsors, prize donors and all attendees for making the tournament a success.
