Michael Soutter has been promoted to Vice-President of Sales Operations for Nissan Canada inc., effective immediately.
The current director of Aftersales will report directly to Christian Meunier, President of Nissan Canada.
“Michael’s leadership, competitive nature and ability to think outside the box has been an important part of the Nissan team success in Canada,” said Meunier, in a written release. “We’re excited to welcome him to this new role and are confident that he will add a new level of forward-thinking strategy as Nissan continues to grow in Canada,” Meunier added.
Soutter joined Nissan Canada in 2013, and has more than 13 years of experience in the automotive industry. He holds an MBA in Strategic Planning from Schulich School of Business at York University.
Nissan says it will announce Soutter’s replacement as director of Aftersales will be announced at a later date.
