CarProof has started adding badges to its vehicle history reports (VHRs) to make them easier to read for used car buyers — making this a great selling feature for dealers.
The company said these badges can help used car buyers identify whether a vehicle has been “Accident free” or one that has only had “One Owner,” along with other key attributes.
“In numerous recent studies, consumers rated previous accident information as mission critical to the used car research process,” said Ed Woiteshek, President and CEO of CarProof, in a written release.
“Used car buyers want information they can digest in a single glance that is easy to understand. With these badges, shoppers can tell right away if the vehicle they’re looking at has the features that matter to them,” Woiteshek added.
The badges have been incorporated on CarProof vehicle history reports as of September 2, 2015, but dealers will be able to integrate the badges digitally into online vehicle listings in the near future.
