Dealers across the country will be able to enjoy free ice cream and other treats and giveaways this week courtesy of RBC’s second annual Dealer Appreciation Week.
“This is a very busy time of year for everyone in the auto industry and this is a good time for us to reach out and say how much we appreciate what all the dealers do to support us,” said Grant Simons, President, Automotive Finance at RBC. “This is just a way to give back that’s fun.”
During Dealer Appreciation Week, hundreds of employees from RBC, including executives and branch members outside of Automotive finance, get involved in the activities, like handing out scoops of ice cream.
In Calgary and Edmonton, Simons said RBC staff are handing out cupcakes and cookies to dealers. Drive-in movies have been arranged for Quebec dealers and their families. B.C. dealers can look forward to cakes and other giveaways.
“We can only hope that the weather cooperates,” added Simons.
Dealer Appreciation Week runs from June 1-6, 2015.
