Adesa and Openlane combine Canadian sales teams

On November 30th, Adesa announced the integration of the company’s commercial sales teams in Canada. In a news release, the company says Adesa and Openlane are creating a single sales and customer relationship management team under the direction of Adesa’s current sales lead, Lisa Scott. “We believe this will ensure an efficient and consistent experience for all of our commercial remarketing customers throughout Canada,” said Scott.

In her role as senior vice president of sales and marketing, one of Scott’s key initiatives will be bringing the groups together to create a single customer-facing team. Scott will report directly to Stephane St-Hilaire, president of Adesa Canada, and Trevor Henderson, managing director of Openlane Canada.

“By aligning the products and services of Adesa and Openlane, we’re able to respond to our customers’ diverse needs and add value to their business,” said Henderson. “As a result of this integration, Lisa and her team will be in a position to be both strategic and responsive with our customers.”

For his part, St-Hilaire added: “Our goal is to present our customers with a common team that can provide service across the entire remarketing spectrum. Lisa is a great fit to lead the team that interacts with these organizations on a daily basis. During her time at Adesa, Lisa has been involved in every aspect of our business, including as an auctioneer and auction general manager. As a result, she is highly regarded throughout the industry.”

The company says the Adesa and Openlane commercial sales and program management teams will begin working together immediately.
