Canadian new car dealer collision repair network Consolidated Collision Services (CCS) has selected ImEX Systems as a preferred technology partner, expanding the technology options available to its network of dealer-owned collision repair facilities across Canada.
ImEX Systems was founded in Vancouver in 1994 and develops management software for collision repair businesses.
According to an announcement from ImEX, CCS member shops will have access to ImEX Online, a cloud-based platform covering estimating, scheduling, parts management, billing, invoicing and reporting. The agreement also includes onboarding, training and ongoing support.
A key component for dealerships is the platform’s integration between collision estimating systems and dealership management systems. ImEX said the connection is intended to reduce the need for employees to manually transfer information and re-enter data into repair orders.
The integration supports CDK Global, Reynolds and Reynolds, and PBS Systems.
“Our members asked for a shop management platform that understands how dealer-owned collision centres actually operate, with OEM procedures, warranty requirements and manufacturer scorecards, not just work orders,” said Charles Aubry, General Manager of Consolidated Collision Services, in a statement.
CCS operates a network of more than 105 collision repair centres connected with 230 new-car dealerships across Canada and has more than 290 OEM certifications. The organization is 100 per cent new-car dealer owned and is a division of Consolidated Dealers Co-Operative Inc.
Under the agreement, ImEX will also be incorporated into CCS training and member resources. The companies said they plan to collaborate on webinars and member communications, as well as participate in CCS events, including the annual CCS Conference and ACE: The Automotive Conference & Expo.
